This is an unusual shape in an Early American splint basket; a half round buttocks basket. The flat side of the basket made it suitable for hanging on a wall.
The basket has a total of 27 ribs, including the flattened ribs on the bottom.
Nice condition with a few broken splints, mainly on the bottom.
Measures about 11" wide by 7" deep by 8 3/4" tall.
