Title: 1890's "Old Italian Block" Quilt

Provenance/Additional Info: Cotton 1890's "old Italian block" quilt, all hand pieced and hand quilted. It measures 76" X 76" and is in excellent condition, with no spots or wear. There are straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at 7-8 stitches to the inch. The back is a late 19th century chambray plaid fabric, the edge is treadle machine stitched, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Federalsburg, MD.
