SLICED MOROCCAN AMMONITE

The exterior of this slender and attractive ammonite presents a diverse patterning of enamel-like shell covering, with flashes of opalescent nacre and fern-like sutures. The real aesthetic appeal lies on the inside, however, each chamber perfectly filled with warm honey brown calcite at the center, spiraling through druzy vugs of protruding crystals and a fine-grained granite, each measuring 6 7/8 inches wide.
