T.J. Wheatley - Cincinnati Slip-Painted Vase 1880. Wheatley's use of this early "Slip" decoration predates that of Rookwood. In 1880 Wheatley filed and received a Trademark for this type of decoration. Signed. Minor firing separation at base, otherwise perfect condition. 12"h x 7.5"w x 2.75".
