Steve McQueen Five Movie Posters, Four Internationally Produced
A group of five film posters relating to actor and "King of Cool", Steve McQueen. Four of the posters come from international markets, including Italy, France, and Germany. Posters included are:
1. Italian Poster: "il Rally dei Campioni" (Day of the Champion), measuring 26.25" x 18.5", Rome, dated 1972. Solar Production, Fida Cinematografica. Esso.
2. French Poster: "Getaway", measuring 15.5" x 20.5", No place, dated 1985. Solar/Foster-Brower Production. Raffin by Spadem.
3. Italian Poster: "L'Ultimo Buscadero" (Junior Bonner), measuring 13" x 26.75", No place, 1972. ABC Pictures Corporation. Distributed by DEAR International, with art by R. Casaro.
4. German Poster: "Teufelskerle auf heißen Feuerstühlen" (On Any Sunday), measuring 23.5" x 33", No place, dated 1971. Constantine-Film. Fotopress Grafische Betriebe Heidelberg. Mounted and linen-backed to the overall size of 27.5" x 37".
5. English Poster: "Bullitt", measuring 39.75" x 30", No place, dated 1968. Solar Production. Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Release.
6. "Racing Is Life!" Poster, measuring 13" x 16.5", Beverly Hills, California, dated 2001. An image of McQueen at Le Mans in 1970. With a facsimile signature. Mounted to the overall size of 20" x 23.5".
Most of the posters have retained their original folds. Varying degrees of spotting, toning, and small tears. All very displayable and can be inspected in-office for further condition reports.
