The Miyota OS11 movement was chosen because of its "bridge style" chronograph subdial layout, meaning that the subdials are only at the top and bottom of the main dial, leaving a sleeker, cleaner look overall. Due to this positioning of the subdials, the sides of the dial were opened up exposing the date wheel in a beautifully symmetrical skeletonization that creates a more 3-Dimensional look to this model. Defined by function, this watch calls back to classic stopwatches often used to time races, so the decision was made to revisit a key design element from those vintage stopwatches... the standout red start/stop pusher. Other luxury additions are the use of Superluminova in each of the hands and hour markers for superior luminescence as well as high grade leather for the strap.
