Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Wucai Dragon and Phoenix Porcelain Incense Burner. The porcelain potted in shallow vessel form, thick and deep, globular body, slight oval, heavy on mid body, broad wide central interior, flaring rounded open mouth lip, raised with short three elephant legs. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted Phoenix and imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mar. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
