Item Details

Description

An elaborately decorated Chinese wedding bed. The bed features scrolled front feet, paneled sides and back, reverse painted glass panels and the the back features a suspended cabinet centered by an oval mirror. The fretwork canopy features carved bat decoration.

Dimensions: 79 1/2" x 69", the overall height is 86".

Condition

Some panels are to due to shinkage, one of the boards associated with the suspended cabinet is broken (not a visible element) , there is paint loss to some of the glass panels. Some elements are warped due to age.
