A GEORGE III SILVER-GILT DISH, by William Pitts (possibly), London 1817, oval, the wide border embossed with foliage, assorted fruits and birds, the rim crimped at intervals, the centre embossed with a scene of a child kneeling over a fruit basket with a begging dog in the background, each beneath a tree. 20.2cm by 17.1cm, 5.6 troy ounces
Condition
Marks clear and well struck. Gilding worn in places. Minor dings, light surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
