Description
Pair of French urns in the Neoclassical taste attributed to Henry Dasson (French, 1825-1896). Executed in gilt bronze and marble, having top bronze finials in the form of pineapples surmounting the black and white marble lids, the marble bodies supported by three ram heads and garland wreath surrounding the rim of the urns. Tripod legs extending down from each ram head in the form of hoof feet, resting on a shaped marble plinth centering a gilt bronze pinecone.
