English, circa 1795. Sheraton mahogany veneer and pine cabinet maker's model or salesman sample, having a banded top, three cockbeaded drawers, and rising on splayed feet. Unmarked. Provenance: Acquired by Emily A. Hightower, Atlanta, GA, from Henry Stern Antiques, New Orleans, LA, June 4, 1984 for $685.. Approx. h. 12.25", w. 10.25", d. 6.75".

Condition

Surface wear including scratches; veneer loss to upper side back corner with other minor veneer loss; case is structurally sound.
