(Hasbro, 2010) A carded pre-production sample Spacetrooper action figure from the Hasbro Star Wars Saga Legends line. In the planning stages of the line, Hasbro designated SL 31 to be a Spacetrooper action figure. However, when they received this pre-production sample, it was discovered that wires had gotten crossed, and the actual figure inside the Spacetrooper packaging was a Dark Trooper. Luckily, the error was caught before the toy went into mass production. This is a rare glimpse of the sort of mistake that can happen on a high-profile product line like Star Wars. From the collection of a former Hasbro employee, the sample measures 3.75" tall in its 9"x6" and 1.75" deep packaging. It is in fine condition with only minor edge wear to the card.
