(Columbia, 1956) An original U.S. 1-sheet poster for Earth vs. the Flying Saucers. The film featured special effects by legendary stop motion artist Ray Harryhausen and pioneered both the look and concept of flying saucers as the dominant mode of intergalactic travel used in film. Folded as issued, the poster measures 41"x27" and is in good to very good condition with marginal staple holes, small tears along segments of the top and bottom edges which have folded back on themselves, some discoloration, spots of separation along the fold lines, and cellotape applied to the reverse for reinforcement.
