Presenting the second CGC Graded elusive, Original OP-5 Version of this First Printing Poster to appear in our auction! According to Eric King's Guide, a small quantity of these posters exist without the rows or woven texture on either side of the paper. A postcard version of this printing was also produced. King describes how he had previously thought this poster was a unique reprint, but the discovery of the matching card proves it is an original printing, "albeit a rather rare one".

This Rick Griffin poster, for a run of Quicksilver Messenger Service concerts at the Avalon, is one of the artist’s strongest and most popular designs. The symmetry and lettering here is incredible and is not easy to find. This original poster is a real gem and it's passionately hunted by collectors.
