Description
Pacific Northwest Airplane Style! This is just the second time we’ve offered this amazing Original Handbill in our auction.
Jefferson Airplane were joined by The Byrds, P.H. Phactor Jug Band, and Magic Fern in Portland on May 28th, 1967. This handbill was designed by P.H. Phactor Jug Band original drummer / founding member Paul Bassett. Paul also founded AIR SIGN COMPANY, designing poster art during the late sixties that often had an essence of artificial intelligence to them. This is a great example of his splendid eye appealing images, with the Jefferson Airplane and Byrds names forming the image of a buffalo.
