Two US hand colored maps from Thomson's New General Atlas published in 1817. Includes "Northern Provenance Of The United States" No. 56 and "Southern Provenance Of The United States" No. 57. The maps were on consecutive pages withing the atlas and are now shrinked wrapped with an artist board backing for display purposes. Each map is marked along the edge of border "Drawn & Engraved for Thomson's New General Atlas 1817". Both with minor losses along white border, minor stains and overall good condition. The double page measures 51 1/4" x 21 1/4".
