Western or Northern Europe, ca. late 18th to early 19th century CE. A charming pottery salt dish presenting an open bottom and corseted body with a hexagonal rim and concave top. Enveloped in a lovely white speckle glaze, the lovely dish is painted with blue and white flowers, each with lush green foliage, along its top, rim, and exterior walls. Size: 3.375" L x 3.125" W x 1.875" H (8.6 cm x 7.9 cm x 4.8 cm)
Provenance: ex-Estate of Eldert Bontekoe, Pegasi Numismatics, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, acquired before 2000

Repairs to base with break lines visible. Chips to base and outer periphery of basin. Stable hairline surface fissure. Otherwise, very nice with excellent remaining pigments.
