**First Time At Auction**
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Michoacan, Protoclassic Period, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A fine pair of pottery bracelets, each formed from 3 equally sized rings of clay layered horizontally and boasting pigments of burnt sienna, black, beige, and white. Each additionally displays a knob-like embellishment on one side. Size (larger bracelet): 3.875" W (9.8 cm); Size (band of larger): 1" W (2.5 cm); Size (interior of larger): 3" W (7.6 cm)
Provenance: ex-private Toluca Lake, California, USA collection, before 2000
