Offered for sale is an old Chinese Chinoiserie hand painted wooden box. The hinged lid depicts a landscape scene, the sides, lower front and back with leaf in circle patterns. Interior reveals 4 small boxes with lids with similar landscape art work. Bright orange painted color seen on the inside of all the 5 boxes. Fair condition. Crack line on the base of the large box with splits seen on the underside. The box does not close and there remains a gap in between with the lid down. All with mild paint losses, scuffs and nicks. The large box measures 1 3/4 in. x 7 3/8 in. x 5 7/8 in. The 4 smaller boxes all measure 1 in x 3 in x 2 3/8 in. Unsigned. MMB Inc. in house USA continental shipping $25 plus insurance.
