circa 1745-55, Qianlong period, for the Swedish market, enameled with divided crest and central arms of Stael de Holstein, double crest, griffin supporters, gilt shell and scroll border, bowl, 1-3/4 x 3-1/8 in.; saucer, 5-1/4 in., Provenance: Charles Perry, Atlanta, Georgia (label attached); Private Georgia Collection; Note: According to the label attached, the arms depicted are of Stael de Holstein, created Barons on June 14, 1731 by King Frederick I of Sweden. The title became extinct in 1763.
