Description
ASSORTED PEWTER ARTICLES, LOT OF SIX, comprising a Porter-type porringer with tab handle, an inkstand box with hinged double lid having one covering a pen box and the other featuring an engraved "PLC" initials to underside concealing a divided compartment with sander insert, an inkstand with ceramic insert inkwell and six quill holes, a pair of candlesticks having bobeche inserts, and a teapot with wooden handle. Inkwell box with touchmarks to underside, remainder unmarked, some may be of English or Continental origin. 18th/19th/20th century. Candlesticks 10 1/8" HOA.

Most in good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including dents and nicks; inkstand box probably lacking a couple of interior inserts; ceramic inkwell with hairlines; teapot with several repairs.
