SHENANDOAH / ROCKINGHAM CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA MANUSCRIPT DAY BOOKS / LEDGERS, LOT OF TWO, kept by John Neff schoolmaster, the first recording the students and his accounting at Moses Bowman's School House, County Line School House, and Gordon School House, from 1858 to 1866 (no entries recorded for 1863), patrons include Andes, Neff, Fansler, Gordon, Orebaugh, and Lindamood families; the second being accountings by Neff as executor of the Barbara Neff estate, beginning with records of the purchasers at her estate auction in 1840. Both with original covers. 1840-1866.
