Holder at back end-page containing a color "Map of Great Western Railway Showing Cathedrals, Castles, & Abbeys". Black quarter cloth cover with red paper. Gilt lettering on front and spine. End-pages are an image of a family tree of emblems. Color frontispiece, protected by tissue guard. 229 pp, with photographs, drawings, maps, etc throughout. Two additional pages including an index. Cover shows some cornerwear and edgewear, but is almost entirely free of smudges. Hinges of covers are a bit worn, and boards are partially separated, but still intact. Some foxing near end-pages. Half-title page shows previous owners' names, as well as an inscription (not by the author), in pencil and pen. Text body is clean and free from underlining, highlighting, or notes. Overall solid copy. Full refund if not satisfied.
