Two Federal Period Boston Pewter Chargers
the first by Samuel Green (1779 - 1828), S.G. BOSTON touchmark on underside (Bright and solid with a clear mark; normal wear) (13.5 in. diameter); the second by Thomas Badger, Jr. (1735-1815), circa 1786-1815, underside stamped with Badger's name framing a spread American eagle and a BOSTON touchmark, additional "CW" marking below (Wear consistent with normal use; 1.5 in. hairline on the inner rim) (14.75 in. diameter).
