A collection of iron and brass spear heads from around the world. From left to right in photo: The first is a petaloid shape with a broad socket, likely Medieval European. The second has a faceted leaded-brass guard, and a flat blade with a rounded shoulder; this one was used primarily by Ming Dynasty China. The third is large with prominent midrib and rounded shoulder, likely Viking. The fourth is an Indo-Persian lance head with a slender pointed blade, a central ridge, slanted cross-section, and a tubular socketed shaft. The fifth has a lengthy socket and short blade, likely Medieval European. The next two have sockets and flat blades, likely Viking. Next is a narrow shaft with a heavy patina, likely Medieval European. The last is broad, with flared pointed shoulders, and socket with a rim; and this is likely 19th century European.
