Two Povungnituk/Puvirnituq Inuit stone sculptures
The first: Samisa Passauralu Ivilla (b. 1924); the second: Levi Qumaluk (1919-1997), each depicting a woman stretching and/or scraping an animal skin, the first signed in syllabics and with remnants of Canada Eskimo Art sticker, the second signed in syllabics and with disc number: E9-843.

Each in good condition with scattered scratches, scufs and wear commensurate with age and material. Each with natural fissures to the stone. The first with more scattered scuffs, a couple small spots of darkening, and some tape residue on the lower portion of the woman's body.
