Featured in this lot is this Northern Plains Indians hide ceremonial rattle, circa early 1950's. The rattle shows a wonderful double sided rattle with a bark outer layer and Parfleche wrapped covers with leather twine holding the Parfleche in place. The condition of this rattle is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this rattle/ dancing wand are 34 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 2 1/2".
