Description
Chinese 18th / 19th Century Dehua / Blanc de Chine Guanyin seated on a rock work base with standing Acolyte to side. Height 8 inches (20.3 cm.). PROVENANCE: Sotheby's New York, 16 September 2017, Lot 1006 with label and bar-code hang tag.
Condition
Light age related wear and kiln fired short cracks to edges, the Guanyin right hand with tiny chip to middle finger with hand probably re-set into hand-hole, tiny flake to right big toe and to fabric above it, the Acolyte with a small flake to each scarf-end, tiny flakes to fingers.
