Pair Chinese 19th Century Qing Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Temple Jars with a design of scrolling flowers between upright stripes at base and ruyi head borders at neck & shoulders; with brown lacquered wood "Court-Hat" covers with finials. Height of porcelain 14 inches (35.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: From a private South Carolina collection.
Condition
Age related wear and scratches to each porcelain, 1 jar with infilled chip to side with hairline and 2 associated star hairlines, the other with a small chip/glaze flake to mouth edge, the base with star hairlines; covers with small chips.
