Ornate Marble Painted Slate Game Chess/Checker Board. This is an ornate game board. It is made of slate, but has been beautifully painted to give the appearance of marble. The slate has etched line to demarcate the game board, and the corners are decorated with fan shapes. The surface has a lovely patina on it.

Dimensions are 20.25 in h x 19.75 in w x .25 in d. Condition is fair to good. The paint is worn away in some places. In one corner, the slate is flaking and slightly cracked. There are also two ring-shaped stains from drinking glasses. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
