The item up for sale is a spectacular and bold Colored Pencil on Handmade Art Paper by Legendary Modern Artist, Lowell Nesbitt, who is forever famous for the vibrant color, exquisite detail, unique expression and many other ideals that his artworks exhibit. And, of all the masterpieces he created, often his most desired images are intricate illustrations of beautiful flowers. This drawing, titled "Original Fire Bloom", is an intricate depiction of a flower opening to reveal its brilliant internal color. Also the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size, measuring approximately 23.5" x 23" and 32" x 32" with the custom frame made specifically for this piece. Making it a perfect addition to any home or office, especially since it has remained in excellent condition since it was completed by Nesbitt in 1985. Furthermore, it is one his nicest and most detailed pieces we have ever made available, is hand signed along the lower edge, and comes with a Gallery COA.

Lowell Blair Nesbitt (1933 - 1993): An American born artist who is one of the most influential hyper-realism painters of all time. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in London Nesbitt was a night watchman for the Phillips Collection which he said inspired him to paint. As his career took hold and the public's love for his extremely realistic/photo-like works, best known for his flowers, he began to have many one man exhibits including shows at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Israel Museum and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Today his art can be viewed in some of the most prestigious public and private collections including the Hirshhorn Museum of Art, some American Embassies, Art Institute of Chicago and the Library of the Congress. The United States Postal Service also released a stamp in 1980 based on his floral paintings.
