Carefully Executed Chinese Export Porcelain Vase
first half 19th century, the hexagonal famille rose vase decorated with scenes of a celebratory event, the upper portion with foo-dog-molded handles, the bottom with a black Chinese character mark.

Condition
There is a significant repair to one side of the rim with visible overpaint that is toned and peeling. There
are three tiny chips to the edges of the vase body. Both handles have rubbing to glaze. There is a chip to
the bottom inside edge of the foot rim. Height is ~22-1/2", not 25-1/4" as stated in the catalogue
description.
