Victorian Mahogany Butler's Chest, third quarter 19th century, the rectangular top with brass accents, above a case fitted with four long drawers, all with inset brass hardware and banding in the Campaign style, raised on a plinth base, h. 36-1/4", w. 37", d. 22".

Please note that this is a "butler's " chest. The top drawer folds open to reveal an interior writing desk. In good overall condition. There is an open shrinkage crack to the right side which runs the full length top to bottom. The paneled back is apart and is broken at the lower left corner. One panel is off but present. Good color and patina to the finish.
