Description

An Original and Unique Artwork. A Poster for the Coming of the Messiah. Dimensions: 31x40 cm.

A beautiful and unique handcrafted work.
This work is based on the words in the Gemara in Tractate Sanhedrin, which tell us that the Messiah will arrive at the end of the Shemita year.
Using thick cardboard and black suede fabric, the artist cut, glued, and painted a unique and interesting scene, which illustrates the Talmudic sentence:
"At the end of the seventh [year] the son of David will come."
In the background appears the wall of the city of Jerusalem and the Tower of David. In the center of the poster stands a gate, through one sees a large shofar with the words: 'Ben David is coming'. At the bottom of the poster are references to the tillage required of the People of Israel (if there is no flour there is no Torah), combined with the Western Wall and Jerusalem.
A special piece. Original and beautiful handcraftsmanship.
