Item Details

Description

This amazing trophy was awarded by the Manchester Rifle Association to expert marksman H.G. Bixby of Nashua, New Hampshire (believed to be Harry G, Harry Gray). The trophy was issued in 1884 for the Fall Meeting and features hand etched riflemen shooting at a target on one side and the MRA information and winner hand etched on the other. The loving cup style trophy with female bust handles has a three crossed rifle pedestal base and is marked Mfg & Plated by Reed & Barton 266 Gilt. Measures 11.5" tall x 8" wide

Condition

Excellent with little to no plating loss, no dings or dents but could used a polish if you so desire.Â
