Description

31 1/2" h x 21" w x 29 1/2" d. Seat height 8". Consignor went to Philadelphia Auto Show in 1970 and saw a display of Steve McQueen's seats. He wrote a letter and ordered four black two tan seats. He did not get the tan seats. Also shown is a letter from Steve McQueen trying to back his Hero car. He was unsuccessful. Also shown is a copy of the designed and patented seats for the Bullitt - 68 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. The consignor attached the three bucket seats to a distressed finished beam and used them as an installation in the living room of his house. The remained there and where used by the family all along until we removed them for this auction consignment. Very rare and with a total time line of provenance.
