First American Printing. A fine copy in orange cloth, gilt titles to the spine, color photograph inset to the front board, in a fine condition illustrated slipcase. Text by Frank Corsaro, with comments by Maurice Sendak. Corsaro directed this Prokofiev opera at the Glyndebourne Festival in 1982, with sets and costumes by Sendak. Illustrated by Sendak, with his stage and costume designs, of which most are in color.  #179 of a limited run of 200 signed by both Maurice Sendak, and Frank Corsaro on the limited edition page.
