Antique French Oil Lamp by Decourt with Neoclassical Gilt Bronze Stand - Oil lamp made by Decourt of Paris with ornate brass stamping decoration on column body. The burner is made by H. Robinet and bears a knob with that designation. The lamp is on a gilt bronze stand with curled rinceaux triapariate legs that feature a Bacchian head on the ends. Glass chimney. Dimensions: stand 8 1/4" H, lamp body 11" H, Lamp & stand height 18 1/2" H, glass chimney 12 1/4" H. Condition: Wear commensurate to age and use, some gilt fading.
