Description
"The Godfather Papers & Other Confessions" by Mario Puzo, published by G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1972 with original price un-clipped dust jacket.
Mario Puzo explains the process as if it's simply a matter of throwing a switch on or off as necessary. Aside from a behind the scenes telling (from his skewed view) of the Godfather novel and film, there are also some excellent essays on gambling and family and corruption that show the guy who also wrote the script of Superman movie. [from a reiew]
Mario Gianluigi Puzo (1920 -1999) was an American author, screenwriter and journalist. He received the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for the first film in 1972 and Part II in 1974. Puzo also wrote the original screenplay for the 1978 Superman film. His last novel, The Family, was released posthumously in 2001.
