This star brooch has 40 old miner diamonds graduating from .02ct to .10cts, eight old miner diamonds weighing approx .10cts each, and a center old miner diamond weighing .60cts(approx) for a total diamond weight of approx 3.5cts.----------------------------------The diamonds are generally clean and good color,(near colorless), its the center one that is the problem.It has numerous black spots, and a chip around the girdle.Its out of round but most old miners are anyway.Not a disaster, but included.The 14k chain is newer than the star brooch, which is about 1925/1935.
