Nineteenth century. Two religious books with brown cloth, and two with inked titles on the cover "Citizen's Manual, 1878" and "John King's Book" titled "History of Rome" twelfth edition corrected by W.C. Taylor, printed in London, 1832. With a handcolored insert map "Incursions of the Barbarians". Together with a Bible covered in part of a Becher family register sampler with dates from 1815 to 1830. Inked presentations including Helena C. Cooke 1844 from her mother. The back cover has a "Pencil Sketch of Sarah Swearingen, Wife of John Cooke of South Strabane Township, made by her daughter in law Catherine DM Cooke, wife of John Lyttleton Cooke". Varying wear.
