Vintage and Original, Hess Like 1972 Service Tanker Truck, made in Hong Kong, Marx Toys. Similar to the 1972 Hess Tanker Truck, Hess started to expand its name and proceeded to purchase stations in the southeast such asBillups, Service, and Wilco. Hess would produce a toy truck and every year after its southern stations were allowed to use the mold to make trucks with their logos on them. Service Distributing Company, Inc. (Servco) used the name“Service” which appeared on all its toy trucks from 1966 until 1976. Battery compartment is clean, not tested. All decals are present and affixed with some light wear to each. Comes in the original box with cardboard inserts. No batteryinstruction card was issued in 1972 for this truck. Box features great graphics and colors throughout with light edge and corner wear. Both ends of the box are marked “Made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong”.
