Acquired directly from the daughter of Mr. George Deerholtz by the present owner
Catalog Note:
These were created by Major George Deerholtz of Hibbing, Minnesota. Deerholtz was the Commander of the Salvation Army in Hibbing during the 1940s and into the 1960s. In his spare time, he would "whittle" objects out of wood as a hobby.

Condition
Surface dirt overall. Handling marks and wear. Smaller cross has pieces separated from cross on upper horizontal right and left. Also missing a small finial ornament.
