Description
A Chinese pair of blue and white porcelain bowls dating from the 18th century. The bowls feature a geometric ruyi band with ruyi clouds and mythical birds with a geometric bird motif to the interior.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 7.62 cm X 17.78 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Minor chipping to the rims, abrasions, overall good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
