Bond issued by Cochise County, Arizona Territory, in 1881 for two hundred fifty dollars at ten percent, payable over a period of fifteen years, and issued to Sol Lewis. Still has coupons 7 through 15 attached, each redeemable on January 2nd of the designated year for $25. Center vignette shows the Cochise County Courthouse in Tombstone as it appeared in Territorial days. Arizona became the 48th state admitted to the Union in 1912. The Cochise County seat moved to Bisbee in 1929. Printed by Bancroft in San Francisco.
