Description
Grouping of (4) antique hand-colored J.J. Audubon ornithological engravings, all with identifying pages from Birds of America (184-1844) and (1) Victorian botanical watercolor, signed Henrietta Pressley and dated 1845. Dimensions: (Each engraving) H 10" x W 6.25" Condition: Engravings unframed, in mat portfolios. Showing signs of age, including age toning, foxing and spots of discoloration, small tears and creases to edges of paper. Watercolor with some fading, age toning to paper, and wear to frame.
Condition
All the items in this auction remain at our Annex Gallery location in Bridgeport, CT for pickup. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Monday, August 2nd - Friday, August 6th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
