As the nature of all Buddha, seated Avalokiteshvara, peaceful in appearance with gold ornaments with resplendent, smiling, peaceful serene face and radiant amidst intricate ornate headdress, elongated ears with floral earrings. Adorned with many attractive silks and jewels. With four hands the first are folded at the heart, the two raised hands hold a crystal mala and jeweled lotus, two beautiful feet seated in vajra posture, adorned with many attractive silks and jewels, beautified with dark blue hair in tufts and some loose gracefully to the shoulder. On the crown of the head, the wisdom of all buddhas, is the Lord, source of all refuge gathered as one, in essence the Guru in the aspect of Amitabha, in the manner of the Lord of the Family, seated happily. Emerging and surrounded by the demountable rays of aura-chakra nimbus and mandoria light emanate from the pedestal throne, with elaborate reliefs of scrolling tendrils surrounding the body, they depict the Buddha about to reach enlightenment. Two beautiful feet seated in full lotus posture upon double lotus crown pedestal. Elegantly presented upon a carved gilt bronze tall and fitted stand, with vivid tones color interior cushion, adorned with colorful auspicious pattern on metallic thread ribbon. This sculpture appears to be the perfect example, by any artistic tradition, both for technical precision and exquisite form. The proportions of the body are exact and the overall presence and beauty make this sculpture a precious artistic treasure.
