Manuel is the nephew of famed silver artisan Jose Luis Flores. Manuel has been recognized in national competitions for his designs which frequently feature flora and fauna with stone inlay. Manuel Porcayo was with the prestigious Los Castillo studio for 14 years prior to establishing his own studio "Hecho a Mano" (Made by Hand) in Taxco.
