LATE 19TH CENTURY ACKERMANN & FRITZE PORCELAIN GREEK-REVIVAL COVERED CENTERPIECE
the cylindrical body with a continuous procession scene against a brown ground, the cover with grecian key with gilt accents with a gilt finial, with three legs terminating from animal paws, atop a conforming rounded base, marked with factory mark in blue underglaze, with numerals 333 in iron-red underglaze; height including cover: 44 cm (17 3/8 in.)
CONDITION
The centerpiece appears in very good condition. A minor chip to the gilt base in two places. Light surface scuffs visible to the gilt rim. Inspection under UV shows no apparent signs of restoration.
