Mavin International is the Auctioneer appointed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).


All Lots sold on behalf of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) (“MAS lots”) are subject to the following additional terms:


Whilst all Lots sold for MAS consists of new banknotes from the vaults of MAS, it is possible that some notes may have light banding marks or experienced minor mishandling and this shall not be a reason for return. It may however be returned for serious defects, which mean less than AU condition, unless such defect has been expressly described.


All Lots sold on behalf of MAS is subject to 7% Goods and Services Tax on both the Hammer Price and the Buyers Premium if the Lot is delivered in Singapore. No GST is payable if the Lot is exported outside Singapore.

Unsold Lots from MAS will NOT be available after the auction.


As part of the Singapore authorities’ efforts to combat money laundering and terrorism financing, all successful bidders of MAS lots at each auction who make cash payment (including aggregated cash payments for their successful bids of MAS lots in that auction) equal or exceeding S$20,000 are required to provide MAS with their personal details and the particulars of payment, and, if a bidder is acting on behalf of another person (i.e. the owner of the cash), the other person’s personal details. By bidding or registering to bid, you, and the person on whose behalf you are acting for (if any), hereby agree to allow Mavin to collect and provide MAS with your respective personal data.
